Cultural Advisor

Roy Sebeck, member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.


Gail Rice is responsible for the program grant writing and provides tutoring in the elementary schools.

Local School District

Our Local Education Agency Representative (LEA) is Jude VanDamme, Webster Elementary Principal.


Our Parent Committee helps to design and implement a program that is both educational and culturally relevant. The Parent Committee participates in monthly Title VII meetings, hosts the Spring and Fall Feasts, assists at cultural events, and raises money for the scholarship fund.


Title VII students are invited to participate in all project activities through newsletters and flyers.

Native American Community

The Bay de Noc Singers, the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indiansthe Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and the Hannahville Indian Community have been working together with our schools and community.

Network Team

The Central Upper Peninsula Indian Education Network Team currently has eleven school districts who work together sharing information relevant to the Title VII Program and the Native American community.
